Community on the Hill Incorporated

CommUnity on the Hill (COTH) was established as a nonprofit corporation in the District of Columbia “to conduct worship in accordance with the teachings of Charles and Myrtle Fillmore.” Rev Amalie Frank was the founding minister. The initial “Board of Directors” consisted of Stephanie Dailey, Douglas Barker, Juline Anderson, Patricia (“Pat”) Weeks, Curtis Huff, and Carlie Dixon. The incorporators were listed as Amalie H. Frank, Henry H. Brylawski, and Douglas Barker. The new church became part of what is now Unity Worldwide Ministries, Eastern Region. Rev. Dick Stetler invited Rev. Amalie Frank to use Capitol Hill United Methodist at 421 Seward Square, S.E., where he was pastor, for services, office, and social events.
