HOPCOF events are being held (or have been held) in many churches across the nation as a powerful process to move churches forward. It brings a church community together to help a congregation share the story of how the members have created their identity as a church and how to provide continuity, meaning, and purpose as we explore ways to present circumstances and future possibilities. It is meant to assist the congregation in moving lovingly through the the transformative integration of the past with future possibilities. It is a vital step in helping us to move lovingly and effectively through this time of change and preparation for a minister church. As we grow, it is important that we give in-depth thought into what we want to grow into.
The HOPCOF process is a powerful way to make sure that you have a voice in the further development of our spiritual community. It should be enlightening, powerful, and fun! It is so important that we reserve this day for participating together into planning for our future! We would like you to be at the church at 8:30 for coffee and breakfast snacks and then the meeting will begin promptly at 9:00 am and end promptly at 4:00 pm. Lunch will be provided.
All are encouraged to attend. Please join Rev Sandy and our board members for this important day-long event. Facilitated by Rev Monica Driscoll. Signup online or at the usher’s table.
